The rules
- Everyone drinks one "shot" every minute, usually a sip of beer.
- Keep going for 100 minutes, one hundred shots in total.
- Finish all 100 and you're in the Century Club.
How much is that?
At around 30–40 ml (1–1.5 oz) a minute, 100 rounds add up to three to four litres, or about eight to ten cans of beer. That's a lot, so most groups take smaller sips or mix in water and alcohol-free beer.
Century Club vs. power hour
The rules are the same; only the length changes. A classic power hour is 60 minutes and 60 shots. If your group is new to it, start with a power hour or a 30-minute sprint, and save the Century Club for when you know your pace.

- Plan for a long night: eat first and keep water within reach.
- Random events add variety over 100 minutes; keep them on Rare so they stay a surprise.
- Everyone can stop whenever they like. Finishing isn't worth feeling terrible.
